Hallam Art Group
About us

The Hallam Art Group has been meeting since 1974. In our weekly meetings, our members encourage each other to develop skills in painting, drawing, oils, acrylics, watercolour, pastel, charcoal and graphite.
Our special sessions include life-drawing, still life painting, demonstrations from artists, lectures and video presentations.
Our Spring Exhibition is this weekend!
This bank holiday weekend we will be back at the Sheffield Botanical Gardens for biggest show of the year.
The exhibition will be held at Botanical Gardens, in the Dorothy Fox Education Centre (near the Thomson Road entrance).
Members of the public are welcome to visit and see more than 150 paintings by local artists.
Come along to look at the art, buy an original painting or a print, have a hot drink and a slice of cake, or talk to someone about joining the group.
