A Midsummer Night’s Dream
… Drawing from the imagination
So …it is not precisely midsummer. (or even night-time). But the idea for this session was to draw fantastical things directly from our imagination without any visual reference to help.
Participants were provided with a selection of text-based prompts on paper, which had been taken from novels, screenplays and poems. Members could then interpret the prompt in any way they saw fit.
This proved to be both challenging and rewarding. We saw some remarkable images appearing in the course of the session.
