2025 Autumn Exhibition

We held our annual Autumn Exhibition in the Community hall. Thanks to great teamwork by our members, the show was set-up and ran without a hitch, despite the horrible weather.

We had a record number of members submitting work to the exhibition which is a good indication that the group is thriving.

Footfall by members of the public might have been reduced by the weather, but there was a steady flow of visitors for the whole show.

The standard of artwork was remarkably high.

Almost 200 paintings were on display

The show ended with the presentation of the Eric Gregory Award, our new Chair Glyn presented the award to Christine Turney for her atmospheric watercolour : Mountain Mist. The judge was artist Penny McCarthy who has an exhibtion of her work at the Graves Gallery in Sheffield.
